Welcome to The Oak! Lee and Sue Colbert, experienced restaurateurs, have given this pub a new lease on life with their expertise. Tim, our head chef, is renowned for his Durban curry and South African-inspired dishes, including the SA-spiced rump steak, made with the freshest locally-sourced ingredients.

One of the things that sets The Oak apart is our South African twist on the menu. From the Durban curry to the SA-spiced rump steak, we've got something for everyone. We also offer a range of refreshing lagers and popular real ales, so there's always something new to try.

The Oak's team, including our friendly and enthusiastic bar and floor staff, are committed to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for friends and families alike. And of course, there's Duff, the family golden Labrador, who loves nothing more than greeting visitors with his best toy, Herbie the rubber chicken.
